Hannah & Jordan, Calke Abbey | Grace Elizabeth Photography
When Hannah and Jordan’s photos landed in our inbox, we knew we’d be spoilt for choice on which ones to share with you. The super talented Grace Elizabeth Photography captured this day so beautifully. Not only does the Riding School look absolutely stunning, but Grace and Mitch captured the true love and beauty between this wonderful couple, Hannah and Jordan.
You might need to grab yourselves a cup of tea and some biscuits for this one – it’s going to be a long post with lots of pretty pictures!
Hannah wore a stunning a-line gown with lace, and button detailing down the back. Her dark hair was tied up with loose curls framing her face. Bridesmaids were in a soft, romantic blush pink with tulle skirts, carrying complimenting bouquets.
Jordan and his groomsmen looked handsome in black suits with bowties, with the blush pink featuring again on their buttonholes.
The Riding School was styled so beautifully, with hanging lanterns and festoon lights across the beams on the ceiling. The gorgeous scroll at the end of the aisle and lashings of greenery gave the venue a light, ethereal feel which echoed in the personal touches the couple had incorporated throughout their day.
After a romantic ceremony sealed with a kiss, the couple made their way into the courtyard outside the Riding School to mingle with their guests before being whisked away for photographs.
The photographer captured some stunning images in the grounds of Calke Abbey, and it’s always refreshing to see how different photographers capture the grounds in different ways. We particularly love the shots with the Wisteria…
After Hannah and Jordan had their couples photographs taken, they made their way back towards the Riding School to enjoy their Wedding Breakfast.
Circular tables with that stunning blush pink featuring once more, perspex table numbers crafted by the bride and groom themselves, and greenery running down the centre.
Hannah and Jordan really had thought of everything when it came to the decor for their venue. They made sure that the children (and adults!) were entertained with a sweet stand as well as a gorgeous tipi set up in the corner of the Riding School, which was filled with children’s toys.
Guests ended the evening by enjoying the music, dancing the night away and making the most of the beautiful sunshine. With tables outside the Riding School, some guests got to make the most of the courtyard which caught the evening sunshine, before making their way back inside to enjoy Hannah and Jordan’s first dance…
Before the evening ended, Hannah and Jordan were whisked away once again to make the most of that stunning golden hour lighting…
A huge thank you to the fabulous Grace Elizabeth Photography who captured this day so beautifully. And of course to Hannah and Jordan for being such a lovely couple.
The Honeysuckle & Castle team wish you all the happiness for the future!
