We can hardly believe it’s May already, which means that wedding season is officially upon us! As we begin to host new weddings and see happy couples tie the knot, we’ll have lots more Real Wedding content for you to sink your teeth in to. But don’t worry, we still have a couple of weddings from 2017 that we’ve been dying to share with you all. Starting this week with Kara & Chris’s gorgeous wedding at Calke Abbey’s Riding School, captured by Martin Cheung Photography.
Calke Abbey | Charlotte & Thom | Humpston and Bull Photography
Charlotte and Thom were married at a Church in Breedon-On-The-Hill, before continuing their celebrations with us here at Calke Abbey. The Riding School was the perfect backdrop to their chic and elegant decor, and provided lovely scenery for photographs. These stunning images were captured by the super talented Humpston & Bull Photography.
Hardwick Hall | Kirsty & Ryan | Samuel Docker Photography
This week, we’re bringing you this stunning wedding from Kirsty and Ryan. They had their wedding ceremony with us here at Hardwick Hall, which was filled with bright and colourful decor – including Kirsty’s bright blue hair! It was the perfect juxtaposition against the traditional venue.

Scott & Hollie were married on 16th September 2017 at St Andrews Church, Skegby, prior to hosting their reception at Calke Abbey’s Riding School. Rosie Kelly was on hand throughout the day to capture some incredible photos which we couldn’t wait to share with you.
Andrea and Tom got married in Calke Abbey’s riding school earlier this year, celebrating their day with a host of close family and friends. It truly was a day that was filled with smiles from start to finish.
Back in May we had the pleasure of hosting the wedding of Carina and Zeyad at Calke Abbey. Upon initially meeting the Bride and Groom, we could see that they were two creative souls who had visions of a classy yet bohemian-inspired wedding day.
With the bride’s flair for styling and the groom’s technical knowledge, the pair crafted most of their wedding decor themselves, calling upon help from their family and friends to get involved with the most intricate details that made their day so special. This included growing the flowers in their garden, to the gorgeous letter lights, and even the table linen.
