Here at Honeysuckle & Castle, we like to start a new year with a bang, so when our Calke Abbey open day rolled around, we pulled out all the stops to make sure it was dressed and styled for the dream woodland wedding.
We like to give our guests a taste of what a Real Wedding at Calke Abbey is like, not only to give them inspiration, but to help them see exactly how our Riding School can be transformed.
From a blank canvas with rustic charm to this stunning, opulent fairytale, we worked alongside some of our favourite local wedding suppliers to create this theme.
Neutral, woodland greens were combined with blush pinks to create a whimsical atmosphere, with the stunning florals provided by Avant Garden looking like they were a part of the building.
Lashings of gold and the twinkling of the fairy lights gave the room an overall warmth, whilst the woodland creatures really added to the opulence.
Our Riding School really is such an amazing blank canvas and gives our brides and grooms the opportunity to create a tailor-made wedding that really encapsulates them both as a couple. If you’d like to see more of our stunning venue and the grounds that surround it, we will be hosting our Pop-Up Wedding Village event in collaboration with Save the Date Magazine in April. A true festival-inspired day, you’ll be able to stop by and soak up the atmosphere with some delicious food and a glass or two of prosecco, whilst meeting some of the top wedding suppliers in the industry!
