Inspired by the planning & celebration of Sally's big day, and then after many years of being creatively used by friends & family, we decided to pursue our childhood dreams.

Our Philosophy

We have an instinctive passion for anything creative... flowers, stationery, fashion, design, décor, colours & admittedly we love list making! Put all of this together and you have Derby's finest family run Wedding Planning Service that is 'Honeysuckle & Castle'.

Helen (Honeysuckle) has an artist background with a degree in Set Design for Television & Film will help set the tone & theme of a beautiful day!

Her skills also include a wealth of experience in business, in particular in the fashion & accessory industry, meaning that not only will she ensure that your venue looks stunning but that you do too.

An added bonus is that she can make sure that it's all within budget as well!

Sally (Castle) has a graphical specialism and a degree in Design & Technology. With an imaginative style combined with vast organization & practical skills (gained from a successful twelve years in secondary education) Sally undoubtedly has the ability and experience to ensure that attention is paid to every gorgeous detail and that your day is run with military precision!

With over 7 years of experience in the event styling & wedding planning industry, we can promise your wedding will be one you have always dreamed of!

Our Story

My little sister and I had the childhood dream of establishing our very own business together and crucially, it had to be a 'wedding' business!

As children we were obsessed with everything 'Wedding'! Every ceremony we 'had', had to be different, but encapsulate all of a little girl's fantasies. Even our christening gown was once commandeered as a rather tight bridesmaid dress in our bid to have a 'Victorian' wedding.

It was because of our obsession with all things pretty & nuptial that as the years passed on our idea grew and grew, however we weren't sure of what area to specialise in.

Only when we organised both my own wedding and that of our middle sister Alison (within 12 months of each other) that we realised our forte and that wedding planning and venue styling was defiantly the thing for us!

From there a little seed grew and the rest, as they say, is history. So, as you can imagine, with a shared creative gene and a love of 'Big Days', there is definitely no one more suited to help make your day full of sparkle & dreams than Helen & I.
